No Pumpkin Spice Here, but Fall is in Full Swing at Wesley!

Though fall officially started on Saturday, Sept. 22, things have already been in full swing at Wesley UMC for the new season for some weeks now. And, while we do not specialize in Pumpkin Spice flavors, we have much going on!

The UMW’s Fall Rummage Sale is in the books, and fall programming has already begun. Wesley Preschool is up and running for the new school year, and the choir has returned to its regular practice and participation during Sunday morning worship. Also on Sundays, Kids Church has resumed and so have several adult classes, including a sermon discussion group, Journeys, and Wesley Writers. Youth group has resumed its weekly gatherings on Sunday afternoons at Wesley, and Open Space for young-ish adults is continuing to develop. Pastors Bruce and Scott each have Bible studies during the week. Many other leaders and volunteers continue their work and ministry through avenues like United Methodist Women, United Methodist Men, recyclers, book clubs, serving food for Camp Hope, Green Team, prayer shawl ministry, Men’s Bible Study and Coffee, Women’s Coffee, and other service, programs, and committees. Throughout the year, we will be spotlighting these ministries.

Wesley UMC is hopping with activity! How will you continue to offer your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness? Maybe it will be in familiar areas with some of the offerings listed above, or perhaps you’ll try something new! Blessings to you!
